1. AGREEMENT TO TERMS
By accessing our website or scheduling cleaning services with Rooted Enterprises LLC, operating as Rooted Cleaning, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use our website or services.
2. SERVICES
Rooted Cleaning provides residential cleaning services in Anderson, Pendleton, Clemson, and surrounding Upstate South Carolina areas. All services are subject to availability and our sole discretion to accept or decline any service request.
We reserve the right to refuse service to any client for any lawful reason, including but not limited to unsafe conditions, presence of pests, excessive clutter, or behavior that is threatening or abusive toward our staff.
3. ESTIMATES & PRICING
All estimates provided are based on information given at the time of inquiry. Final pricing may be adjusted if actual conditions differ materially from what was described. We will notify you of any pricing changes before beginning work.
Prices are subject to change. Existing recurring clients will receive at least 14 days written notice of any rate changes.
4. PAYMENT TERMS
Payment is due at time of service unless otherwise agreed in writing. We accept Venmo or Cash. A returned check fee of $30 will be assessed for any returned payments, consistent with South Carolina Code § 34-11-70.
Accounts past due more than 30 days may be subject to a late fee and suspension of services.
5. CANCELLATION & RESCHEDULING POLICY
We require a minimum of 24 hours notice to cancel or reschedule a cleaning appointment.
Cancellations with less than 24 hours notice may be subject to a cancellation fee of up to 50% of the scheduled service cost.
Same-day cancellations or lockouts (we cannot access the home) may be charged the full service fee.
Recurring clients who cancel more than twice consecutively may lose their reserved time slot.
6. ACCESS TO YOUR HOME
You agree to provide safe and reasonable access to your home on the scheduled service date. This includes ensuring pets are secured, alarm codes are provided, and any areas requiring special access are made available.
If our team cannot access your home at the scheduled time through no fault of Rooted Cleaning, a lockout fee may apply.
7. SATISFACTION GUARANTEE
We stand behind our work. If you are not satisfied with any area we cleaned, notify us within 24 hours of service and we will return to re-clean the area at no additional charge. Re-clean requests made after 24 hours or for areas not included in the original service scope will not be covered under this guarantee.
This guarantee does not apply to pre-existing conditions, damage, stains, or areas we were instructed not to clean.
8. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
To the fullest extent permitted by South Carolina law, Rooted Enterprises LLC shall not be liable for:
Damage to items not disclosed prior to service, including fragile, antique, or irreplaceable items
Pre-existing damage or wear
Damage resulting from improper installation, assembly, or structural defects
Loss of income or consequential damages of any kind
Our total liability for any claim arising out of services provided shall not exceed the amount paid for the specific service in question.
You agree to notify us of any damage claims within 24 hours of service. Claims made after 24 hours may not be honored.
9. PERSONAL PROPERTY
Please secure or remove any valuables, irreplaceable items, or fragile objects prior to your scheduled cleaning. Rooted Cleaning is not responsible for damage to items left unsecured or not disclosed at the time of booking.
10. INDEPENDENT CONTRACTOR & EMPLOYEE CONDUCT
All cleaning services are performed by W-2 employees of Rooted Enterprises LLC who are trained, background checked, and held to strict quality and conduct standards. We carry general liability insurance and workers' compensation coverage as required.
11. NON-SOLICITATION
You agree not to directly solicit, hire, or employ any current or former Rooted Cleaning employee for cleaning or related services during the term of your service agreement and for 12 months following your last service. A referral fee of $500 may be assessed for violations of this clause, consistent with South Carolina trade practice standards.
12. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
All content on this website including text, images, logos, and branding is the property of Rooted Enterprises LLC and protected under applicable federal copyright law (17 U.S.C. § 101 et seq.). You may not reproduce, distribute, or use any content without written permission.
13. WEBSITE USE
This website is provided for informational purposes only. We make no warranties regarding the accuracy or completeness of content. We reserve the right to modify or discontinue any part of the website without notice.
14. GOVERNING LAW & DISPUTE RESOLUTION
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of South Carolina without regard to conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these terms shall be resolved in the courts of Anderson County, South Carolina.
In the event of a dispute, both parties agree to attempt good faith negotiation before pursuing formal legal action.
15. SEVERABILITY
If any provision of these Terms & Conditions is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
16. CHANGES TO TERMS
We reserve the right to update these Terms & Conditions at any time. Updated terms will be posted on this page with a revised effective date. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
